Sara Yasin is a Palestinian-American journalist and editor with over a decade of experience in newsrooms in the US and UK.

Most recently, she was managing editor of the Los Angeles Times, leading its digital transformation. She left in January 2024.

Before that, she was at BuzzFeed News for almost seven years, where she mostly focused on audience development and eventually became the site’s managing editor.

She has also worked for GlobalPost, Mic, and Index on Censorship.
